One of the first questions patients ask after receiving their prediction imaging is:
“Is this what I will actually look like after surgery?”
The answer is no—but that is not what the imaging is intended to do.

Why We Create Computer Imaging

The initial images you receive are simply the starting point. They represent Dr. Eppley’s interpretation of the goals you described during your consultation.
Your job is to carefully review the images and tell us:
- What do you like?
- What don’t you like?
- Is any area too large or too small?
- Would you prefer a stronger or more subtle change?
- Does the overall appearance feel natural and balanced?

Your feedback is then used to modify the imaging until it represents the aesthetic direction you are seeking.
Only after this process is complete does the imaging become the surgical blueprint used for operative planning and, when appropriate, the design of your custom facial implant(s).
Why Imaging Is Not an Exact Prediction
Imaging of your pictures cannot account for the many biological variables involved in surgery.

2. Is the amount of change correct?

3. Does everything work together?

The face functions as a single aesthetic unit.
