Barry L. Eppley, MD, DMD is a double board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice in Carmel, Indiana. He is both a licensed physician and dentist and is double board-certified in two surgical specialties, the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Prior to private practice, Dr. Eppley was a full tenured Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center for 17 years. He has now been in private practice for the last 20 years.

Dr. Eppley has extensive experience in the investigation and development of numerous technological advances in plastic surgery. He has been awarded nine U.S. and international patents on biomedical technologies. His publications include over 250 journal articles and 35 book chapters. He has also authored two textbooks and three consumer books on plastic surgery. Dr. Eppley is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in custom facial implants and aesthetic skeletal surgery.
